| ArtePollino project, a different southern Italy in Munich |

ArtePollino Project was housed by one of the most important international sustainable tourism fair, just ended on February the 2nd in Reisepaviollon, Munich, with a stand prepared by Basilicata Regional Promotion Agency in collaboration with Pollino National Park.
An ambitious and innovative project was presented. It will see on next summer the setting of contemporary artworks, realized by first-rate international artists, into the natural environment of Lucania side of Pollino National Park. ArtePollino was promoted by Basilicata Region, Ministry for Art and Culture, Ministry for Economic Development, Venice Biennale Foundation and Sensi Contemporanei with the aim of promoting creativity as a local development factor. ART and NATURE are the key character of a product directed to international tourism which is sensitive to creativity and natural beauty. That's why many activities directed to schools, resident population and local entrepreneur were planned. During the fair days in Munich some members of ArtePollino Association, together with experts of ACTA (Culture, Tourism and Environment Agency) presented the first experiences of ECOTOURISM LABORATORY to German operators. The laboratory, which is part of the project, is oriented to qualify tourism in Lucania area of Pollino National Park.
